PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Residents are encouraged to use public transportation during the marathon to avoid road closures and parking restrictions. Public Transit Options are as follows.
PATH TRAIN STATIONS

Buses
Located along Kennedy Boulevard in Jersey City, NJ, Journal Square Transportation Center.
Light Rail
Light rail stations can be found throughout the city.
Ferries
Additional ferry service will run between Port Liberte, Paulus Hook, and Hoboken from 6 AM to 2 PM on Sunday, April 19th.

Access to Jersey City Medical Center for employees and for emergency vehicles will be allowed during gaps in the race via the intersections of Grand St and Jersey Ave and Grand St and Monmouth St. Do not cross the race route unless explicitly permitted by a JCPD police officer!
Port Liberte residents:
FERRY AVAILABLE
JCPD will direct cars to cross east to west on Chapel Road, crossing Caven Point Road and Garfield Ave., sporadically during gaps in the race. Expect delays crossing Caven Point Road and Garfield Ave. Traffic will not be allowed to turn onto Caven Point Road or onto Garfield Ave. The longest delays will be between the hours of 7:30AM and 10:30AM. Any Port Liberte resident traffic should be planned for before 7:30AM or after 10:30AM.
Paulus Hook residents:
FERRY AVAILABLE
JCPD will direct cars to cross Grand Street South to North onMarin Blvd. or Van Vorst St. sporadically during gaps in the race. Expect delays crossing Grand Street. Traffic will not be allowed to turn onto Grand Street. The longest delays will occur between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Any Paulus Hook resident traffic should be planned for before 8:00 AM or after 11:00 AM. Alternate parking locations will be available for Paulus Hook residents who wish to use them. See the list (on this page) of available alternate parking opportunities at Jersey City Schools, Jersey City Medical Center, or City Hall.
Hamilton Park residents:
No traffic crossings of Marin Blvd., or Manila/Grove Street will be possible between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM. If you must drive across these streets, plan to do so before 7:00 AM or after 8:00 AM. No traffic crossings of Coles Street or Monmouth Street will be possible between 8:15 AM and 11:15 AM. If you must drive across these streets, plan to do so before 8:15 AM or after 11:15 AM.
